Last week all over the news and social media, Northerners were excited for their first snow. The first snow is always so exciting until you see the picture of your friends in Florida with shorts on, playing golf in December. As the north prepares itself for the cold winter, Floridians are gearing up for one of our most beautiful seasons. With the temperatures still in the 70’s and 80’s in Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club located in Ormond Beach, FL there is plenty to do outdoors. The resort style pool is still open for an afternoon dip or you can go fish in many of the beautiful lakes. The greens are in great shape on the 45 holes of exquisite golf in Plantation Bay. With a tee time at 7:30am you are looking at temps in the 70’s!
With the enjoyable weather, outdoor events become so much nicer and last all year long. (Without the gloves and scarf!) This weekend Plantation Bay held its First Classic Car Show. Many residents brought their classic cars to the Fitness Center for others to enjoy and be merry. I even saw some classic golf carts out there! Food, great tunes and beautiful weather made this a successful event-not to mention the cool hot rods to view.
